Goals Development

I find that when I set a clear goal as to what I want to and have a clear vision to the accomplished task; it becomes a motivation factor for me. I therefore think that each team member needs to create their own goal list. There should be at leaset three items that is related to the work we do in our team. There can be more of course. The goals should be very specific. It should specify when the target completion date with specific dates and if there are any measurable milestones that can be quantified, it will be specified. Here is an example.

I am going to completed finishing writ ting 9 chapters with about 30 pages per chapter for the book "Becoming a Clinical SAS Programmer in the Pharmaceutical Industry" by April 15, 2008.

In this case, it states what is going to be done, quantifying that there are 9 chapters with 30 pages and to be completed by April 15.

Suggestion Box

It would be nice to have a location where anyone in the team can add comments and make suggestions on any topics that would help MXI and the whole team work better. This can be point out an existing problem but it should also make suggestions or recommendations on how to fix it. The messages are anonymous so it easier to express honestly how you feel.
